The St Bathans’ skyline is dominated by the Hawkdun Range and Dunstan Mountains.
Perhaps its most remarkable feature is the impressive Blue Lake that was created during goldmining days by the efforts of miners sluicing and dredging for gold. The stunning blue colour of the lake is caused by the mineral content of the surrounding cliffs. The 120 metre high hill that was the lake site, is now a 69 metre deep hole,the deepest mining hole in the Southern Hemisphere.

Korean artist Do Ho Suh placed real house on top of Jacobs Hall building on the campus of University of California in San Diego. “Fallen Star” house looks like it was picked up by some mysterious force and crashed into the seventh floor of Jacobs School of Engineering. One of the images that are repeated over China Longji rice fields. No wonder that these peculiar terraces have a privileged place in the photography tour of China for its natural beauty.

Longji is beautiful in every season of the year with its infinite shades colors that change at the whim of the sun and the elements. Longji, translates literally as "the backbone of the dragon", perhaps by its form, its bright green spring or in China not only because the restaurants are named Dragon, also the mountains.

Longji is situated in the autonomous province of Guangxi, near Guilin. Excellent location to kill two birds with one stone and visit two of the most beautiful natural environments of China. Longji are not only spectacular panoramic.

The rice terraces of Longsheng Longji have 700 years of history, built during the Yuan Dynasty, represent an example of the intelligence of the Yao ethnic minority (people of the land along with other minorities) to adapt and rugged mountain terrain for growing rice terraces by the system. The Yao minority live in a beautiful wooden houses that fit the ground and draw a dreamscape. The women of this minority are characterized by a very long mane that are reproduced in a very special kind of bun. Finally remark that in this area there are two places to see the terraces: Ping'an and Jingken.

This is the place where two oceans meet... but do not mix!
INCREDIBLE AND SIMPLY MIND-BLOWING!!!

These two bodies of water were merging in the middle of The Gulf of Alaska and there was a foam developing only at their junction. It is a result of the melting glaciers being composed of fresh water and the ocean has a higher percentage of salt causing the two bodies of water to have different densities and therefore makes it more difficult to mix.

The Kjeragbolten boulder is a huge rock wedged more than 1000 meters up between two cliff faces. The boulder is situated in the Kjerag mountain, in Norway.

Rumours say that the rock got stuck there sometime during the last ice age. If you get dizzy, you lose your balance and fall into the chasm below.
